Call-in-radio shows or radio shows that have a talk back line (= leave a message) can be a very effective way of communicating an issue, concern or some good ideas to a wide radio audience.

Call-in-shows and talk back lines – Vancouver

CBC Radio one – AM 690

CBC Early Edition: 604 622 6690 – Talk back. Host Stephen Quinn. Show runs from 5:30 am to 8:30 am weekdays, but you can leave a message anytime of the day.
BC Today out: 604 669 3733 – Call in show – host Michelle Eliot. Show runs from 12 pm to 1 pm weekdays. Tune in a little before 12pm, and once they mention what the topics are start calling right away. A producer will take your call, take your name, number and what you roughly want to share on air. Then you’ll go into a wait with the show playing through the phone, so turn your radio off. The host will announce you and say what you want to say, ask a question, etc.
CBC On the Coast: 604 622 6979 – Talk back. Host Gloria Macerenko. Show runs from 3 pm to 6 pm weekdays, but you can leave a message anytime of the day.

CKNW – AM 730

Shows through-out the weekdays with call-in segments. Dedicated call in number is 604-331-2899.
Mornings with Simi – 5:30 am to 9 am.
The Mike Smyth Show – 9 am to noon.
The Jill Bennett Show – noon to 3 pm.
The Jas Johal Show – 3 pm to 6 pm.
