On Thursday February 9, 2023, Concerned Citizens Bowen will join My Sea to sky to ask the Canadian Minister of Environment and Climate Change to protect the seals and sea lions of the Atl’Ka7tsem/Howe Sound Biosphere Reserve.
Currently Woodfibre LNG is trying to have protections for seals and sea lions, and requirements for water quality during construction, weakened. Learn more about the proposed changes.
IMPAC5 – a global forum for the protection of oceans – is currently taking place in Vancouver, and the Honourable Steven Guilbeault will be visiting on the last day of the forum, this Thursday.
